Sphere medi spa is committed to best practice at all times, and providing the highest standards of infection control is always of high importance at our salon.
We have a duty of care to identify our responsibility to the health, safety and well being of our clients, the general public & our staff.
It is our priority to ensure our salon is complying to the COVID-19 protocols as put in place by Safework Australia,SA Health, and the World Health Organisation.
Our staff have completed “COVID-19 Infection Control” certified training which is displayed in the salon. They are following all the required government legislation & as stated on this page we are taking extra measures to ensure the health and safety of our clientele, staff and the public.

Clientele Screening
A screening process prior to booking your appointment with our team will take place over the phone to ensure your suitable to come to your appointment. This includes:
You or those you reside with are not unwell or experiencing any flu like symptoms?
You have not been in contact or had close contact with anyone who has been a confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus?
Upon entering our salon we ask you please adhere to social distancing 1.5 metre in our waiting room and sanitise your hands with the sanitiser at the front desk provided for you, prior to seating.
COVID-19 Treatments
You will be reminded to adhere to the 1.5 metre distancing rule & seating is set out as such.
You will need to attend you appointment alone, No friends, family or children can come with you. This is so we can adhere to the social distancing policy and complete our cleaning and COVID-19 infection control in adequate time..
We have strictly 15-30 minute cleaning and infection control time frames between client appointments. We ask you do not come any earlier than 5 minutes to your appointment, As to keep adhering to social distancing at all times.
You will be reminded to sanitise your hands prior to your appointment and upon leaving the premises. Hand sanitisers are available in every room also.
Your Therapist will be using appropriate personal protective equipment.
A risk safety assessment questionnaire prior to treatment will be required to be filled and signed
Digital temperature will be taken upon arrival. Any person with a temperature will not receive treatment, and will be asked to call the salon to be rescheduled.
Risk Safety Assessment
On arriving at our salon you will be asked to use our COVID-19 check in.
This is compulsory for all clients to complete who are attending our salon.
Questions will include, but not limited to
1.) Have you travelled interstate or overseas within the last 14 days?
2). Have you been in contact with anyone who has travelled overseas or interstate within the last 14 days ?
3). Are you or anyone you reside with feeling unwell or showing any signs of cold or flu like symptoms ?
4.). Do you have a temperature today?
5.). Have you used the hand sanitiser upon entering our premises?
6.). Have you read the strict clinic policy at our front doors prior to entering our premises?
7.) I acknowledge the salon protocol of social distancing and adhering to 1 person per 4 sq/mt
8.) I am aware the salon is carrying out strict protocols and procedures to ensure the spread of Covid-19 is reduced
We thank you for your co-operation and understanding with these requirements due to COVID-19. Your safety and our safety is most important to us, and no one wants us to have to close our doors again! While we are getting use to the new normal we do ask for your patience if we run into any issues, which we will do our best to resolve as soon as we can.
