Owner Theresa Lawrence saw a need to bring a full concept salon to south of Adelaide. With the skill of our highly qualified Sphere team, we dedicate ourselves to providing our valued clients with superior and personalised aesthetic care supported by the most cutting edge treatment and professional strength home care products. Our services have been created to deliver advanced results in a calm professional clinical environment. We are committed to continually improving ourselves and providing outstanding customer service.

Meet the owner

Working several jobs in hospitality to support herself and her young son, Theresa wanted more stability and regular hours which suited a single working mother. While handing out resumes one day she walked into an interview at Priceline, where she was offered a position. Theresa was quickly moved to the beauty/cosmetic department, and this is where her love and passion of all thing’s beauty began, while her desire to learn and know more grew and took hold.

While on her journey to understanding self-care, confidence and self- esteem, Theresa flourished in the role of helping women on their beauty journey. It was empowering, rewarding and self-healing, which lead her to the path of a Diploma in Beauty.

The next 6 years Theresa worked in salon’s across southern Adelaide and further studying in laser and make-up, which she created an multi award-winning make-up business.

In 2013 Theresa and her former business partner opened their first commercial business while studying further in advanced skin therapies. To this day it is still Theresa’s favourite treatment as she states, ‘being able to help someone with problematic skin, and seeing a newfound inner confidence and visible results is really rewarding’.

By a chance meeting at a local “hot spot” she met her future husband and in her words ‘her biggest supporter and her everything’, and they welcomed a little boy into their lives in 2009, expanding her family, and eventually in 2015 they married.

In 2017 with a 6-month-old baby girl, Theresa outgrew the premises with her former business partner and created her first solo business sphere medi-spa. Theresa now as a wife and mother of 3 wanted to create a healthier work-life balance and began a Diploma in Nursing, followed by a Bachelor of Nursing at UniSA. She was accepted into a specialty program in which she was able to spend 20 weeks in surgical, theatre and anaesthetics.

Theresa juggled full-time university, placement, and running a business, with the love and support of her husband, family, staff and clients.

Sphere medi-spa has many loyal clients, an outstanding reputation, ever growing social media following, and is known to be industry leaders in Adelaide, with 5 star reviews from satisfied clients. Sphere medi-spa has a solid team with experienced and highly trained therapists, and her new business adventure Aesthetics Culture & Skin which offers Cosmetic Injectables and Dermal Fillers is the next direction in her professional career.
